Dear Brothers and Sisters in Baptism,
I am deeply grateful to all who made last weekend’s celebration of the sacrament of the Most Holy Eucharist such as a significant spiritual experience for our young people. Let us all join in prayer for those who received this precious sacrament so that they may walk in the light of the Lord all the days of their lives as consecrated to Christ and the Church through their full Christian Initiation.
Our wonderful St. Anthony Cathedral School has begun Student Registration for the 2006-2007 school year. You would be surprised to know how far you don’t have to go to get a good education. Located in the heart of downtown Beaumont lies a school perfect for your child. Encounter excellence in Catholic education at St. Anthony Cathedral School.
Also, our St. Anthony Cathedral School is having May Crowning on Monday, May 8 at 8:10 in the St. Anthony Cathedral, all are invited to attend. Graduation for the 8th graders this year will be on Saturday, May 20 at 10:00 a.m. We are nearing the end of another school year and we thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed on our students and school. Congratulations to our Academic and Literary 11A District Champs who competed in the PSIA State Meet in Fort Worth.
A shocking murder. A secret revealed. Centuries of belief turned upside down. 2,000 years later, the story is still a blockbuster. Please kindly join Deacon Larry David and myself as we discuss “JESUS DECODED” beginning this Wednesday evening, May 10 and again on May 17 and 24. These three dynamic Wednesday evenings of dealing with destructive deceptions such as - Did Jesus marry Mary Magdalene? Did Jesus’ child live in France as the Holy Grail? Did the Catholic Church suppress the “real truth” about Jesus and early Church? And did the Emperor Constantine’s politics determine the divinity of Christ? We will assist you to separate fact from fiction.
In the Lord's love,

Fr. Jerry McGrath
Pastor - Rector
